Dr Gerald Carr-White
Dr Gerald Carr-White qualified from St George's hospital in 1993 with University of London honours in Medicine. He trained in general medicine at the Brompton, Hammersmith and St Mary's hospital becoming a member of the Royal College of physicians in 1996. He then undertook a PhD at the Brompton Hospital in the mechanics of ventricular function.
His speciality cardiology training was at the Brompton Hospital and Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals. He was appointed a consultant at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust in 2005. His specialist interests are heart failure and cardiomyopathies, cardiac imaging (transthoracic echo, TOE, stress echo and cardiac MRI) and valvular heart disease.
