Diagnostic tests and procedures are used to determine:

  • Type of cardiac disease

  • Severity of the disease

  • Most effective treatment method

Cardiac tests are performed for patients with symptoms of:

  • shortness of breath

  • chest pain

  • palpitations

  • blackouts / syncope

Cardiac Tests are performed with clinical findings of:

  • Cardiomegaly (enlarged heart)

  • Heart murmurs

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

  • Coronary artery disease

  • A family history of heart disease

  • Patient’s with risk factors for heart disease.

  • Genetically acquired heart diseases

Diagnostic procedures have become sophisticated and more precise, providing the information that is required for treatment tailored to an individual’s particular condition.

Cardiac Screen provides a "ONE STOP" facility, whereby patients can have a complete consultation, investigation, diagnosis and treatment on one visit (excluding requirements for any CT, MRI, or invasive tests).

Cardiac Screen has purpose built consulting rooms, with complete secretarial & reception services available for hire to doctors for consultations.
