Doctor Michael Webb-Peploe (Retired) did his undergraduate medical education at Trinity College Cambridge, St. Thomas' Hospital London. He did his Postgraduate medical education at St Thomas's Hospital, Brompton Hospital, Royal South Hants Hospital Southampton, Mayo Clinic Rochester USA, Hammersmith Hospital (Royal Postgraduate Medical School). He was appointed as a Physician in charge, Cardiac department, St Thomas' Hospital (1971-97). As a Director of invasive cardiology, cardiothoracic Unit, Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals NHS Trust (1997-2000).
He was appointed as an Honorary Civilian Consultant Cardiologist to the British Army (1978-2000). He was a Consultant Adviser in Cardiology to the Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health. He was Consultant Cardiologist (locum), Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals NHS Trust. (April 1st - October 31st, 2005). He is presently a Honorary and a Emeritus Consultant Cardiologist, cardiothoracic unit, Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals NHS Trust. And a Member on the Medical Advisory Panel, Civil Aviation Authority, U.K. He has a specialist interest in Ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, heart failure, interventional cardiology.
